Instructions for Lid Cleansing with iGiene Lid Cleanser
iGiene Daily Lid Hygiene is a specifically formulated eyelid cleansing treatment critical for improving contact lens comfort. Eyelids have a daily buildup of foreign materials from oil, dirt, smoke, etc. This gentle, tearless cleanser removes environmental debris, skin flakes, and makeup while conditioning and toning the delicate skin of the eyelid. Gentle formula safe for sensitive skin ocular-irritant tested.
iGiene Lid Cleanser Application While Showering
- Before entering the shower, apply a warm wet facecloth to your face. When it cools down repeat two more times.
- Press against your lower lids firmly upward and then press against your upper lids downward to help express oil from your lids. Do not attempt to cleanse your face or lids with the cloth.
- At the end of your shower, apply one or two drops of Igiene Lid Cleanser to the palm of your hand. Lather well by rubbing your hands together. Dab the tips of your fingers on both hands in the suds.
- Close your eyes tightly. Rub your fingertips 10-15 times across the base of your eyelashes from side to side. (You may gently wash the rest of the lids and face area after the eyelash cleansing) Rinse your hands thoroughly and then rinse the remainder of the cleanser from your eyelids.
- Massage the lower lids again, pressing the lower lids upward and the upper lids downward, trying to squeeze and express oils from the lid margins.
